BROWNSVILLE, Wis. – Michels is pleased to announce that Sean Nicholson has been promoted to Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).  In the new role, he will use his 20 years of industry experience to execute a comprehensive, unified HSE program throughout Michels’ operations in the United States and Canada.

During his 10 years as Michels’ Director of HSE, Nicholson established programs to support Michels’ top-down commitment to a culture where the safety of people, property and the environment is the prime objective. He will expand the programs he and his team developed to support pipeline construction operations, customer needs and governmental regulations across the company’s expansive utility and infrastructure construction operations.

Nicholson also will continue his efforts to improve the safety culture across the energy and construction industry. Among other industry associations, he is actively involved in The INGAA (Interstate Natural Gas Association of America) Foundation with a long history of developing best practices and presenting at conferences and meetings.
