Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

pile-cutting-new-orleans-airport-120

The patented pile cutting machine or PCM is making short work of 4,500 14″ square concrete piles at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The machine operator is able to safely cut and remove piles, never leaving the cab. Pile cutting is underway in three work areas: the main terminal, east concourse and west concourse. A new 30-gate terminal is being build on the north side of the current runway and is to be finished in 2018 in time for the city’s tricentennial celebration. The addition will result in faster security screening, more parking and restaurants, and more tourism.

ATI’s equipment and expertise is helping keep this project on schedule. Call us for your next pile cutting need. 1877-752-2729 (1-877-SLAB-SAW)
